Supporting local San Antonio Firefighters who are currently battling cancer.

The objective of the San Antonio Firefighter Cancer Fund is to provide timely assistance to all Active Duty San Antonio Firefighters and their families in the event of a cancer diagnosis. We are always in need of volunteers to assist us by helping to support our various committees, specialized task programs, member supported activities and specialized events.

After I was diagnosed with cancer shortly thereafter I received a check from the San Antonio Firefighter Cancer Fund to help me with some of my expenses. Their sense of family and brotherhood are truly a blessing.

We are deeply grateful to the San Antonio Firefighter Cancer Fund. Your financial support and guidance needed in fighting my multiple myeloma cancer has helped my wife and I immensely during my daily treatment. We had no idea of the extra expense involved in my care, the many and continued trips to Houston and its many hotel stays and other incidental costs involved.

-J. Faunce

The men and women involved with the San Antonio Firefighter Cancer Fund work tirelessly throughout the year fundraising for our brothers and sisters who are fighting cancer. I cannot tell you what a blessing it has been to have a little extra cash to help cover all the expenses involved with fighting cancer every year and they have graciously provided this assistance to me.  Eternally grateful to be a part of this “brotherhood”.

-S. Henshaw

I never thought that I would be on the receiving end of getting a check from the San Antonio Firefighter Cancer Fund. I felt comfort in knowing that I wasn’t going to battle this alone. I got reassurance that my firefighter brothers were standing by my side and doing whatever it takes to assist me with a full recovery. I’m just humbled and thankful for the help and I will continue to show support and lend my hand when another firefighter is in need.
